Faith & Freedom Coalition Celebrates Donald Trump’s “Historic Victory,” Citing Broad Support from Faith-Based Voters
The Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Founder and Chairman, Ralph Reed, has released a statement applauding President-elect Donald J. Trump’s victory as “historic and impressive.” Reed emphasized that Trump’s win demonstrates a “clear mandate” for an agenda focused on strengthening the U.S. economy, securing the nation’s borders, expanding American energy production, supporting Israel, and promoting family values.
Reed highlighted the essential role played by faith-based voters, specifically evangelical Christians and Roman Catholics, who turned out in record numbers. According to Reed, the Faith & Freedom Coalition ran a significant grassroots campaign to mobilize these voters, which he described as “the largest ground game operation outside the Republican Party in modern political history.”
Reed also pointed out that Trump’s success extended beyond his own campaign. Many Republican Senate and Congressional candidates who aligned themselves with Trump’s agenda also won, bolstering the coalition’s support in Washington. Reflecting on the victory, Reed expressed his pride in counting President-elect Trump as both a friend and a strong advocate for “faith & freedom.”
This election outcome signals the ongoing influence of faith-based voters in American politics and the potential for Trump’s administration to advance policies aligned with the conservative Christian community.
