Miles Windsor, from the Religious Freedom Institute (RFI), has been appointed as Strategic Advisor to Ambassador Robert Řehák in the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Windsor will serve part-time, providing strategic guidance to Řehák, who holds the position of Ambassador for Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB), Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues, and Interfaith Dialogue. Additionally, Řehák chairs the International Freedom of Religion or Belief Alliance (IRFBA), a 43-nation coalition aimed at promoting religious freedom and protecting religious minorities worldwide.
Windsor, who is RFI’s Director of Strategic Campaigns, brings 15 years of experience in religious freedom advocacy to this advisory role. His expertise will support Ambassador Řehák’s efforts to address global religious persecution and advance religious liberty.
As part of his new position, Windsor recently spoke at the Bundestag before the International Panel of Parliamentarians for Freedom of Religion or Belief (IPPFoRB) and German Members of Parliament. He addressed key issues, including the impact of Artificial Intelligence on religious freedom, a central topic at this week’s International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief in Berlin.
