Former Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard Celebrates Trump’s Historic Victory
Tulsi Gabbard, former representative for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District and the first American Samoan Congresswoman, has extended her congratulations to Donald Trump on his historic election victory. Gabbard, who served in Congress from 2013 to 2021 and was the first practicing Hindu member of the U.S. Congress, took to social media to express her support and appreciation for the 47th President.
In her post, Gabbard shared heartfelt words, saying, “I offer my heartfelt thanks and aloha to President Donald Trump for allowing me to play a small part in his victorious campaign to Make America Great Again.” She described Trump as “a kind and courageous person who sincerely desires the best for the American people — and indeed for all the people in the world.”
Gabbard, who in 2019 announced her own candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination, becoming the first female combat veteran to run for U.S. president, also voiced her hope for unity. She urged the American people to reject any attempts to undermine Trump’s presidency, highlighting the challenges he faced during his previous term.
With these remarks, Gabbard joined a list of public figures recognizing Trump’s return to the White House, signaling bipartisan calls for respect and cooperation as the nation moves forward under new leadership.
